We will go to pick you up to your hotel at 1 PM in order to begin this tour. From your hotel will head you to Cusco’s Plaza de Armas where you are going to visit the famous cathedral or main Church of Cusco City.
After touring this sacred church you will continue to the Q’oricancha, the Temple of the Sun. However, you should need to know that on the way we will pass some narrow streets and original inkas walls. At the Q’oricancha you will see the clash between the Inca culture and Catholicism, likewise its possible to find a little part of the pre-inkas buildings and that way we can compare the three types of cultures that used to exist by this valley.
From Q’oricancha We will walk down to Avenida El Sol, where you will take our car just outside of the city. The 20 minutes driving takes you to the majestic and amazing Inka site of Sacsayhuaman with its enigmatic monoliths weighing as much as 150 tons. Y
our guide is gonna explain you how, when and who the ancient people build this amazing place. even you have the chance to see all Cusco city and for sure your tour guide is informing you about the develop on the time. because I think we should need to know that millions and millions years ago this place used to be a lake where the dinosaurs drunk a water from here.
From Sacsayhuaman it is a 5 minute bus ride to Q’enqo Inca site with its fascinating Incan altars that are located into a cave of limestone, then another 5 minute drive to Puca Pucara, a small, circular Inca site that many people call to this spot as a red fortress. in order to finish we are going to do it the final stop on our Tambomachay, a water temple thought to be used by the Inca for bathing, with its impressive water fountains and another information that for sure your professional tour guide is gonna provide you. and after this
We’ll then drive you back down to Cusco where the tour ends in the main square or if you want we can take to your hotel of course you know that our tour is in private service.
Altitude sickness
It’s common start to wondering about altitude sickness if you thinking to come to Peru, specially in Cusco. however, It’s easy to figure out this problem. You just need to spend few days in Cusco drinking plenty water and coca tea.
This is the high altitude symptom
headache, tiredness, dizziness, nauseas, tingling, loss of appetite, trouble sleeping, vomiting. Please, If you feel any of this problem contact with our company or call a doctor in order to helping you. but, this symptom usually are gonna be temporal just you need to drink plenty water and coca tea. However, some times our customer prefers pills and in that way we suggest you have a (acetazolamide or dexamethasone) and come few days before to Cusco.
Weather
In general, the weather here in the andes is unpredictable and that is the way why we suggest to our customers have to be ready for rainy or sunny day. although, if you have waterproof clothes for sure it’s gonna helping us so much.
First aid kid
All of Our mountain guides has their first aid kids and a lot of training in first aid in the mountains and every years they received classes of doctor with the most frequently problems as a (diarrhea, cuts, headache, scrapes,etc.) at the same time they have a oxygen tank in order to helping you to feel much better. However, It’s fine if you thinking to bring your own first aid kid for the trek.
Travel insurance
Always is gonna be good idea to have a travel insurance for your tour or trek and more if you thinking to travel for few weeks or more of one month. Although, for sure you need to have one if you have any serious illness just in case if something happens.
